I have had a brilliant week working with Stage Fight in Birmingham, under Raph Aldis, and alongside some other great actors. Although I did BADC Foundation at East 15, this was a few years ago now so thought it prudent to refresh my knowledge and build on it via the ECSPC standard. As well as refreshing my sword and unarmed combat technique knowledge, I also practised dagger technique moves. It was physically demanding but a great experience, lovely to stay over in Birmingham for that time, and hang out with the other actors I met on the course!
Stage Fight do specific courses for screen combat, so the techniques will be tailored for camera rather than stage work, which I aim to do.
