I had the privilege of working with writer and director Anastasia Marshall on an exciting project about different aspects of single life as a female.
My scene was about Nina who is enjoying the freedom of becoming recently single and celebrating that behind closed doors! Singing and dancing (like we all do) like no one is watching....
It was very interesting learning the script as it was predominantly all song! Anastasia commissioned a song for the scene and my line learning was all about the lyrics and the tune to go with it. Thankfully it was made as an authentic person singing along to a song they don't know very well - definitely not an MT performance!
I do really love performing in comedy pieces, and the crew were a great team to work with.
